Shambhu Dayal College of Education, Sonipat is one of the premier institutions of teacher
education of Northern India. It is one of the oldest colleges conducting B.Ed program. It aims
at producing well skilled and efficient teachers. The motto of the college “We live for
children” sums up the life of a teacher. Children are the future of the nation and a teacher has
the responsibility of nurturing their talent, building their character and making them useful
and productive citizens of the country.
In this age of fast changing technology values have been left far behind and we are left groping
in the dark. A teacher, in such a situation has to become a role model and a torch bearer for
the children.
The college has a magnificent building, spacious lawns, well-equipped laboratories and a rich
library. The college staff is highly qualified and dedicated. The college aims at harmonious
development of the personality of the students and provides a conducive environment for
learning. It emphasizes on value based education and upholds traditions. The college has covered
many milestones of success and has a reputation of providing motivated and exemplary teachers to

Welcome to the Shambhu Dayal College Of education, Gohana
Road-Sonipat. It is a leading reputed institution of teacher education situated at fifty miles away
the capital city Delhi. It was established in the year 2007 by Shivala Shambhu Dayal Trust (Regd.)
Garhi Brahamnan, Sonipat with a well defined motive of serving the society by contributing to
quality teacher education. The society is running two other institutions - one senior secondary
school & Para Medical Allied Health Sciences and Industrial Training Centre. The college was started
with a purpose to give quality teacher education to the urban and rural graduates of the surrounding
areas to meet the growing need of education and the prepare prospective teachers for global society.
The mission of the institution is to develop a teacher education programme which enables the
perspective teachers-ICT efficient with Indian values in their hearts. The institution has a firm
faith and a well planned and organized programme, quality faculty with job satisfaction and
